(Milford, IA) - The Fall Race Fest will be held from 12 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at the new Iowa Speedway. This free, day-long event is designed to help benefit the Ingham Okoboji camp and the Victory Junction Gang Camp. A suggested donation of $5.00 is appreciated.
Throughout the day, several NASCAR team members, along with the #45 Schwan’s Home Service car of Kyle Petty and the #07 Jack Daniel’s car of Clint Bowyer, will be available. At 4 p.m., Ken Schrader, driver of the #21Air Force/Little Debbie Ford, will be available to sign autographs. The first 250 people to receive a wristband will get an autograph from Ken. Wristbands will be handed out from 2 – 3 p.m. at the Red Baron® bus.
Visitors can also see PB Chopper’s custom bike called “Rusty’s Last Call,” visit souvenir trailers, purchase merchandise, take tours of the track, or ride along in a race car with the Richard Petty Driving Experience.
Different vendors also will be on hand throughout the afternoon to purchase products with proceeds going to the camps of Ingham Okoboji and Victory Junction. Bands will be playing live music through the afternoon and autograph sessions will be held by the area’s up and coming drivers.
We’re also excited to add the following sponsors to the event: Cookies BBQ, Wall Lake, IA; Corporate Image, Concord, NC; Iowa Pork Producers, Clive, IA; LaCroix Outfitters, Buyck, MN; PB Choppers, Moravia, NC; Red Baron® pizza, Marshall, MN; Richard Petty Driving Experience, Concord, NC; Shryock Racing Components, Fertile, IA; Speed Golf Cars, Wall Lake, IA; and The Cycle Xchange, Matthews, NC.
The Fall Race Fest is in conjunction with the gala event “A Night of Victory.” The dinner and gala will cost $250 per person and will include dinner with top NASCAR drivers such as Clint Bowyer, Kenny Schrader, Kenny Wallace, Kerry Earnhardt and others. A silent and live auction with race memorabilia will be held and people will have the opportunity to win great prizes throughout the evening. Bob Dillner and Krista Voda, Speed Channel personalities will be our emcees of the evening. Tickets go on sale May 24, 2006.
